The person I spoke with was Dennis Burke and he apologized for things taking so long, but apparently they have had some employee turnover in their returns department. Anyway, he cheerfully credited my credit card for the amount of the purchase (even though I had bought it locally at a store called SofTec Plus). These days, when you find a company that will stand behind their product, they deserve the benefit of letting others know about that kind of service. Even though I did not really like the "Programmer's ROM", Quanta has a number of other titles that might be of interest and I won't hesitate in the future to buy one if I am genuinely interested. I am 100% satisfied with the way Quanta handles their product. It is an unusual stance, I think, to guarantee their CDs unconditionally. -RF
