Interesting.  The SB16MCD I recently purchased came with version 1.1 as well.
When I called customer service to inquire about obtaining version 2.0, they
first told me that they "don't know what Creative WaveStudio is."  When I
elaborated, they put me on hold a few minutes before telling me to "call
back in a few weeks."

When you receive your v2.0, I wonder if you could post a short note
describing what enhancements the new version has?  I need a sampling/editing
program that has some means of visually monitoring input levels, and I'm
hoping that feature made it into the new release.
