The British magazine PC Format puts out a monthly magazine with a CD-ROM 
on the cover for around $11.  They are really worth the money.  They 
certainly pack more than the floppy disks.  They put together very 
nicely.  Clear explanation of how to run the software and an easy 
installation menu.

One of the strong features of their CD-ROMs is the ability to try 
commercial software before you buy.  A lot of times, they include the 
CD-ROM version of commercial software if one is available.

If you have access to these issues of the magazine, you should pick them 
up.  Worth the cash!
